berli084@planet.nl In 2002 Tony and Willem shook hands with one objective: Success in both the morning and afternoon releases.
After Willem relocated from Amsterdam to Bovenkarspel we erected a loft for 16 pairs.
In Lelystad at Tony's parents' house there is an 11 metre long brick pigeon loft of which 6 metres is being used for the pigeons.
After the results of the morning releases (Barcelona, Perpignan and Bordeaux
JL) for several years had been studied intently we set our sights on only a few breeders:

What these brothers have achieved amazes many people. Is there anyone who has not heard of their "Orhan" who himself succeeded in achieving a 5th National Barcelona and a 12th National Perpignan. When he is also sire/grandsire/greatgrandsire to many pigeons who have raced within the top 50 National in both the morning and afternoon releases.

We have 23 pigeons directly from the brothers in our breeding loft of which 5 are grandchildren of the 'Orhan'.

The foundation pigeons of this partnership are De Rode 50 - Zwarte 50 - Dorus and De Barcelona.
After winning the Marathon-North title in 1999 in the afternoon release in 2002 the title was won again, but then for the morning toss. In 2007 the 1st International Perpignan was clocked in the loft of Vertelman & Son.
The grandfather of this winner is the 92-3333 of whom there are 2 pigeons in our stockloft.

Cor en Louie de Heijde of Made / Geertruidenberg
When we mention Cor De Heijde we think of 'De Klamper'. We still find 'De Klamper' everywhere in National winners.
And he has developed into a top producer over successive generations.
A few of Cor de Heijde's important pigeons are:
'Klamper', 'Diamantje', the 'St-Vincent hen', 'Don Michel', 'De Perpignan' , Brother Perpignan and currently 'Het Mooi Grijs'.
We have two grandchildren of lastmentioned in our stockloft
There are two pigeons directly from de Heijde in our stockloft as wel as a dozen pure De Heijdes.
